Neurology Associates is a private practice with three locations around Jacksonville, Florida. The practice is led by Physician, Neurologist, and Sleep Disorder Specialist (and also my dad) Dr. John DeCerce. I was excited to be tasked with updating the logo I had previously designed, plus conveying my father’s lifelong dedication to excellence in treating patients into a visual, tangible brand identity.
The Challenge: For many, a visit to the doctor often reveals more questions than answers and leads to increased distress and anxiety. But at Neurology Associates, every patient is supported with top notch medical care, and made to feel seen and heard. So - for patients struggling with neurological and sleep disorders, the website and visual direction of the business overall says “here’s a clinic that cares.”

Clean and modern, yet approachable.
Specializing in sleep disorders, the imagery of the logo suggests a moon and a star to evoke the quiet, restful feeling patients are seeking. However, in the spirit of Neurology, that same star is also representative of an electrical impulse in the brain, between the synapses of neurons.

Neurology Associates was in need of its own website for better recognition. They also needed an easier way for patients to get more information and make appointments without having to call the office as the only option. The dark blues and cool overlays bring a sense of calm to the site visitor’s experience, while minimalist design and large buttons and fonts reduce friction for potential patients.
